Sustainable history.
Set in over 100 acres of landscape designed by Capability Brown, Harewood House is one of the Treasure Houses of England. Built-in the mid-18th century, the house is a Georgian architectural masterpiece, with art collections to rival the finest in Britain. But in 2019, Harewood was suffering from a lack of visibility and falling attendance figures. We developed a brand strategy, visual identity and a compelling story to re-connect Harewood’s rich creative past to contemporary audiences, positioning the house and its grounds as a contemporary and sustainable cultural destination, not simply a historic visitor attraction.
"JWA developed a brand true to the values of the people who know Harewood House best and helped to inspire a new sense of purpose, driving decision-making at every level. "
